FAKE CLOTHES HAVE STANDARDS TOO

Everyone wants to get the best looking clothes out there for very cheap prices. This does not mean we will go for any cheap clothes, we want brand names clothes. So some of us will sometimes buy high quality fake clothes.

 When people think of fake clothes they think that anything and everything fake is pretty much the same. However there are actually many different types of fakes, just like real clothes. Like we have in real clothes we have high quality clothes made from high end fabrics and some cheap clothes made from cheap goods. These high quality fakes are known as replicas; these replicas tend to be a little bit more expensive than other fake clothes but still are significantly cheaper than its real counterpart. Now we don’t want to link you to any websites selling counterfeit goods but a simple search on Google of replicas and fakes brings up several results.

The question whether people like it or not like the low priced fake products can be answered in both ways because the people who like wearing branded cloths wear these to define their style statement and they will always say no to the fake products as these sell very rapidly and makes the unique products a common one because they cannot be differentiated with the eye. But on the other side there are people who doesn’t have enough money or the people who do not wish to spend enough money on expensive branded clothes. These type of people will definitely like it. So there are two different views over this issue. But it is not only about the people that they like it or not, it is also not legal to sell products under any brand name as the companies spend huge amount of money on designing their unique, new products and register them under their name. So if the products are copied, legal action can be taken on the people selling the fake products.

CAN I TRUST BRANDS LIKE TOMMY?

This is serious question to be asked; I can’t say this any better than any other person can but Tommy Hilfiger being such a successful global brand would not risk its reputation and the brand image to gain money illegally. Tommy Hilfiger is a trusted brand  and it has its proper industries where these clothes are made and all the clothes delivered by the distributors to wholesalers and retailers are under full supervision and the full chain of supply is under quality check as I mentioned above.

The more you see of the Tommy fake clothes the more you get frustrated because you know that people will also at some point think that the shirt or the jacket or any accessory that you are wearing is fake and is cheap quality. This type of things reduces the brand loyalty of the customers and the business suffers huge losses.

Is it wrong to buy a fake jacket?

If I buy fake clothes am I hurting anyone? Good clothes are priced so high I think there is nothing wrong with buying counterfeit because we are being ripped off by brands anyways.

Yes, it is wrong to buy counterfeits because when you buy fake cloths of any sort you are supporting criminals. Many people tend to use the excuse that the real thing is too expensive. The reason it’s so expensive is because brands are losing lots of money to black markets that sell fake clothes. To make up for these losses they price their clothes even higher, so technically you are responsible for these high prices. Not only that but you are not only funding criminals in their counterfeit activities in clothes but many others from games, DVDs, and many more. In a future blog post we will tell a story where counterfeits led to a personal experience.

What are common excuses for people that support criminals buy buying fake?

QUALITY CONTROL CHECKS

Tommy Hilfiger is well aware of the fake Tommy market that has spread globally and is growing in large numbers. Tommy can’t do much about this but the one thing that they are able to do is post a quality control  check on their own cloth manufacturing’s so that no one could come into their stores and question their quality. Tommy has taken a wide number of steps including putting up a chain management system which keeps a full track of the production and also the distribution of authentic Tommy Hilfiger clothes.

This is a very good step taken by Tommy Hilfiger because everyone is worried about the brand image of Tommy Hilfiger a second thought always comes in everyone’s mind who buy a Tommy accessory because of the random fake clothes seen everywhere.
